This yarn is a blend of Finnish wool and recycled cotton-linen, which brings sophisticated colorful tufts to the yarn. The cotton-linen fibers do not dye, which adds its own personal look to the dyed yarn, so it's absolutely wonderful.

Strösseli yarn breaks the traditional image of coarse Finnish wool yarn. It is soft, has a subtle sheen and feels pleasant – the perfect choice for knitters with sensitive skin who want a Finnish feel. This semi-worsted yarn is particularly soft and less prickly, as Idän kehräämö uses high-quality Finnish lamb and Kainuu grey wool in its yarns.
