The online store's products are sold by WoolWomen oy (business ID number 3131563-8 ).

The online store is the easiest way to order our products at home. All orders are confirmed by email, which states the price of the order, shipping costs and the ordered products. Please always provide your phone number and email address so that we can send you an order confirmation and delivery notification with tracking codes. You will receive an arrival notification by text message or email. As a customer, you answer that your information is correct and up-to-date. All prices in the online store include VAT of 10% (books and magazines) or 24% (yarns and other products). We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs.

Good to know about WoolWomen.fi operations

  • Ordering is possible for private and business customers.
  • Ordering does not require registration.
  • We deliver a receipt (or invoice) to the customer for accounting purposes (business customers). The order confirmation in the e-mail serves as a receipt for the order.
  • Orders are normally processed on weekdays within 24 hours of placing the order, the products are sent from our own warehouse
  • If the product according to your order is not available for one reason or another, we will notify you immediately by email or phone.
  • The customer always has a 14-day right of return in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act. Read more about the return conditions at the end of this page.

Payment methods

Online banking made possible for us by Paytrail oyj (2122839-7), which works in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions.

The cooperation includes Finnish banks and credit institutions: Nordea, OP, DanskeBank, Ålandsbanken, Handelsbanken, S-pankki, Aktia, POP pankki, Säästöpankki and Oma SP.

Bank and credit cards: we accept the following card payments: Visa, Visa electron, Mastercard, Diners club and American express.

MobilePay is a new payment method application that makes paying even easier. MobilePay works with the most common banks.

Collector Invoice/Part Payment

Flexibility and freedom of choice - pay all at once or in installments, at the pace you choose

Invoice and account credit give you more time to pay for your online shopping purchases. Using them, you can wait for your order to arrive in peace before paying for it. You can make the payment either at once with an invoice or in smaller parts with an account credit, in which case you can pay the amount that suits you best every month and spread the payment over a maximum of 36 months.

Free payment time with an invoice - safe and easy transaction

With an invoice, you always get 45 days of interest-free payment time for your online shopping. The long payment period enables you to check your purchase and, if necessary, return it before the invoice is due.

To take advantage of the payment period, you need a positive credit decision, which is easy to apply for when making a purchase. You can apply for it if you are at least 18 years old and have a Finnish social security number and a permanent, official home address in Finland. Your credit information is also checked from Bisnode Finland Oy's register.

Delivery and delivery fees

We use Posti for all domestic shipments. Deliveries are made every weekday.

If you choose Pick up your order from the store, get in touch when you have received the pick-up notice, e.g. by emailing info@woolwomen.fi to arrange a pick-up. Pickup from the store is free.

Matkahuolto:

The Matkahuolto Lählä package is delivered to the nearest package point from the recipient's address within 1-3 business days. The price is €6.50, the postal limit is €120

Letter :

A letter with a maximum thickness of 3 cm , a maximum weight of 0.05 kg including packaging materials. E.g. knitting instructions, needle sizes and other small products can be delivered as a letter. Does not include tracking, transport time approx. 4 working days. The delivery time of the letter depends on the post office in your town. Postal parcel is often a faster and safer option, so if your order is in a hurry or you want to track the shipment, choose postal parcel as the delivery method.

The price of letter delivery is €3.00 including VAT 24%

Post a small package

Post's small package max 3 cm thick , weight max 150g with tracking number directly to recipient's mailbox, delivery time 2-3 working days. E.g. small items, needles, NO THREADS can be delivered unless specifically mentioned on the product page.

The price of the small package is €4.90

Postal package to Finland:

A package that is delivered to the Post office or parcel machine of your choice. Includes tracking, transport time approx. 1–2 working days after the post office registers the package for transport. When the order arrives at the pick-up point, you will receive a notification via text message and email.

The price of the postal package is €7.90.

Home package:
Posti Kotipaketti is delivered to your door at the agreed time. Posti is in contact with the recipient the next business day after dispatch by phone, text message or e-mail. Agreeable delivery times vary by region from 9 am to 9 pm. The service includes one distribution company.

The price of the home package is 12.90

Sales area
Products sold in the online store are delivered to mainland Finland. You can agree on delivery abroad with us separately by email.

Returning products

We want to provide the best possible information and pictures of our products on the pages of our online store. If you cannot find the information you are looking for, please contact our customer service before ordering. However, sometimes the product does not suit your needs, you can return it. We charge 7.90 postage for returns  . The right of return does not apply to custom-dyed yarns, electronic knitting instructions or printed products such as magazines or books. When returning knitting needles, the needles must be unopened and unused. Please also note that the products to be returned must be intact and unopened and in a salable condition.

Returns, return conditions and more about returns

      • The return period after picking up the product is 14 days.
      • Products must be returned unused. (If the consumer has received the goods, according to Chapter 6 § 23 of the Consumer Protection Act, in order to maintain his right of withdrawal, he must keep the goods essentially unchanged.)
      • You can familiarize yourself with the product, but in such a way that there are no signs of use or damage to the product. (According to the government's proposal (HE 79/2000), the consumer can inspect the goods and try using them in the same way as is customary in similar transactions made in commercial premises without losing the right to cancel.)
      • All parts or features of the product must be returned in the original packaging.
      • You can return it to Posti branches, the product MUST NOT be returned in any other way, if it has not been separately agreed with us.
      • A defective product will only be exchanged for the same new item. If it is not in the selection, we will return the purchase amount to your account after checking the product.
      • If the product has other return conditions, they are always mentioned separately in the product information. Returning the product takes longer than normal mail. On average, we receive the package within 4-12 business days.
      • We will refund the purchase amount of the order to your account / card / credit provider as quickly as possible, once the refund has reached us. We reserve the right to charge 6.90 euros for the shipping costs incurred for the return.

      • According to Chapter 6, Section 15 of the Consumer Protection Act, the contract can be canceled and the goods returned by notifying the trader within 14 days of confirmation or receipt of the goods.

We accept returns when they are still fully salable:

• Store all product labels attached to the product as they have been
• Packages intact
• The product is intact
Please note that the sender is responsible for packaging the return. If the product is broken on the way due to careless packaging, we reserve the right to refuse the return.

Unclaimed package:

An unclaimed package is not a return.

We charge a handling fee of €10.00 for a package left uncollected that is returned to us, which covers a small part of the shipping, material and personnel costs incurred in the delivery of the package. I hope you understand this! If the total amount of your order was, for example, €100.00, we will then return €90.00 to you.

Providing correct information is the customer's responsibility when placing an order. If there were errors or omissions in the information and the delivery could not be delivered because of this, we will charge a normal delivery fee of €6.90 for the redelivery .

  • Pack the product(s) in a very durable package (for example, the package in which the shipment arrived).
  • Include your contact information and write the reason for the return to speed up processing.
  • Take the returned products to the post office packed and protected.
  • In the mail, tell us the customer return of WoolWomen Oy in question and mention our contract number, and they will print a label on the package.

Products broken during delivery

Unfortunately, despite careful packaging, the transport company does not always manage to deliver packages intact. For this reason, it is good to check the condition of the package already when picking up the shipment.

Record the observed damages in the consignment note together with the person giving the goods!

If you notice damage after delivery, contact the transport company immediately and file a damage report! Report the damage immediately to us at info(at)woolwomen.fi.
