Luonnotar is a Finnish, plastic-free and unbleached 100% wool sock yarn. The yarn is spun from Finnish sheep wool and Texel sheep wool. Finnish sheep wool is soft and dense, and the wool of the meat breed Texel is coarse, which is intended to bring durability to the yarn together with a strong twist.

Luonnotar is a soft, smooth yarn that is slightly rustic, but not at all prickly. Wool socks and mittens made from this yarn are comfortable to wear against the skin and have the best thermal properties. We recommend knitting the socks a little tighter, which will make them as durable as possible.

With the color update, Luonnnotar has gained even more brilliance.

Despite its name, this is also a really good alternative to sweaters and other accessories, so it's suitable from head to toe.
