Mittums mittens pattern (PDF) + woolwomen neon tweed dk yarn

Mittums booties have a long rib that folds over the bootie for extra warmth. You can knit the booties in one color or use two colors. The pattern is written to be knitted in loops, but you can also knit with double pointed needles. The booties have a curved thumb insert. The pattern uses an Italian cast-on, but you can create the stitches any way you like.

Sizes: S/M (M/L), palm circumference 16.25 (18.75) cm

Yarn: 70 (80) g DK strong yarn in either one or two colors. The model tumput (M/L) is knitted using WoolWomen Neon tweed DK in the color fireflies

Needles and supplies: 3.75 mm circular needle (80 cm or longer) or an extra needle depending on your handwork for the beginning stitch marker stitch holder or leftover yarn threading needle

Knitting density: 24 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm stockinette stitch with thicker needles
