Rauma Garn Vams is made from 100% Norwegian wool. The 2-ply wool yarn is pleasantly soft and has a lovely plush twist that loops on the needles. The bulky yarn is great for beanies, mittens and popular yoke knits. Despite its thickness, Vams is still airy, which also shines in cables and surface knits. Try it instead of the recommended Alafosslop, there is a slight difference in knitting density, so it is worth choosing one size larger. The versatile yarn also works with Aran-strength knitting patterns, if you want to replace Lettlop, choose one size smaller. However, remember to make a sample patch and check your knitting density. Vams also feels, so you can use it for felted projects.

Vamsi's color chart is a stunning combination of soft melange shades, bright hues, and lovely pastel shades.

The yarn is spun at a 100-year-old factory near Rauma Garni in Romsdalen. Reserve about 450–500 grams of yarn for a women's size M sweater.
