Isager Soft is a wonderfully soft yarn that is gentle on both the knitter and the wearer. Isager Soft is an airy, luxuriously brushed blend of the softest alpaca and organic pima cotton. The fluffy surface of the yarn does not itch and this yarn is also great for sensitive skin.
Isager Soft combines warmth, lightness and softness. The cotton core of the yarn is wrapped in a brushed alpaca, creating an airy structure and a mohair-like feel. It works beautifully on its own and is a great option if you want to replace a wool + mohair combination with a single yarn.
The yarn has 125 meters / 50 g, and the recommended needle size is 5.5–6 mm. The knitting density is set at about 13–16 sts / 10 cm, but you can easily adjust the final result by knitting more tightly – for example, for a beanie or warming accessories. The lightweight structure makes this yarn ideal for sweaters and cardigans, when you want airiness without heaviness.
Some shades are undyed, and the entire range is made without harmful chemicals – Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification guarantees safety. Country of origin: Peru.
