Terrazo neck is started from the back piece, worked up and over the shoulders, and the front piece is worked down. An opening is formed at the neckline, and a polo collar is knitted from the stitches picked up from the edge. The back piece of the neck piece is square in shape and the front piece is trapezoidal. The pattern uses Italian cast on and Italian bind off. Start by knitting a swatch, which will help you estimate which needle size will give you the right knitting density. Wet and tighten the swatch.
