PetiteKnit Florence Bag knitting pattern

This knitting pattern is a Finnish print and requires postage.

The Florence Bag is knitted seamlessly from top to bottom. First, the edge is knitted in stockinette stitch and then the sides of the bag are knitted in the round in lace stitch. The bottom is knitted in lace stitch with decreases. Finally, the lining is sewn in place and the leather strap is attached. The purse is knitted from top to bottom. The bottom is looped closed. Finally, the lining is sewn in and attached to the purse. The pattern includes instructions for sewing the lining.

Make a sample patch first so you know how to choose the right needle size. Wash and press the patch before measuring.
