Instructions for Jenna K's Väki sweater in Finnish and in print.

One of the most fascinating concepts in Finnish mythology is "folk". For the ancient Finns, this term had many meanings: it was a group of beings or supernatural beings that manifested or could cause diseases or give powers to others. Everything was thought to belong to the people, including the people.

The Väki sweater is knitted from the bottom up, it has dropped shoulders, embroidery on the hem and lace on the sleeves. The design of the shirt symbolizes the power, the people, that every plant, creature and element has.
