Bio Shetland is a GOTS-certified slightly rustic woolen yarn for all those who love to knit with many beautiful colors and soft woolen yarn. The yarn is suitable for e.g. in embroidery, but this one also comes with beautiful braids and laces. With the size of the needles, you can influence the tightness of the knitting, with smaller needles you can create, for example, mittens for which one skein is enough. You can choose larger needles for the sweater, e.g. 3mm-3.5mm, for the M size sweater you need 4 skeins of yarn. You can choose even bigger needles for scarves.
Bio Shetland raw wool comes from mulesing-free farms in South America.
The colors of the yarn are spun from several different shades, thanks to which the yarn has a beautiful mottled color. This yarn is also GOTS certified, making it a great choice for children's knitwear and accessories as well.
The ecology and manufacturing ethics of GOTS-certified (Global Organic Textile Standard) products are monitored in all different stages of production, where e.g. special attention is paid to water consumption.
