The pattern is written to be knitted in loops, but the socks can also be knitted with double pointed needles. You can carry a contrasting color by twisting it with the main color every couple of rows, this way you minimize the number of yarn ends to tie off. The picture shows socks knitted with sport and worsted yarn.

Sizes S (M) L, foot circumference 18.25 (22) 25.5 cm

Yarn 100 g sport strength yarn, approx. 400 m/100 g in two colors, 50-60 (60-70) 70-80 g main color and 20-30 (25-35) 30-40 g contrasting color.

The model socks (size M) are knitted with Cascade Yarns Heritage 6 (75% merino, 25% nylon, 267 m/100 g) in colors 5618 Snow (main color) and 5672 Real Black (contrast color). The model socks (size M) have 13 pattern repeats and the socks used 68 g of the main color and 32 g of the contrast color. The tip used approx. 4 g, one contrast color stripe 1 g and the main color stripe 2.25 g.

Needles & supplies 3.25 mm circular needle (80 cm or longer) or stitch markers according to density, a slip stitch needle

Knitting density 30 sts x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm stocking stitch in stocking stitch
