The pattern is written to be knitted in loops, but the socks can also be knitted with double pointed needles. You can carry a contrasting color by twisting it with the main color every couple of rows, this way you minimize the number of yarn ends you have to tie off.
Sizes S (M) L, foot circumference 17 (19.5) 22 cm
Yarn 100 g fingering strength yarn, approx. 400 m / 100 g in two colors, main color 40-50 (50-60) 60-70 g and contrast color 15-20 (20-30) 25-35 g. The model socks (size M) with a contrast color tip are knitted with Lang Yarns Jawoll Superwash 75/25 yarn (75% wool, 25% nylon, 210 m / 50 g) in colors 045 Heathered Sand (main color) and 004 Black (contrast color). The model socks with a main color tip are knitted in colors 022 Beige (main color) and 215 Burnt Orange (contrast color). The model socks have 11 pattern repeats and each sock used 50 g of the main color and 25 g of the contrast color was sufficient. In size M, the tip takes about 3.5 g, one contrasting color stripe takes about 0.8 g, and the main color stripe takes 2 g.
