Lang in classical Donegal is a beautiful 100% merino tweed yarn with a fine twist and the yarn is charming at first sight. Its tweed dots are sophisticated and the feel of the yarn is soft and interesting. It is spun and dyed in Ireland according to an old tradition and due to the traditional production method, the thickness of the yarn can vary from sport strength to lace strength and this creates an interesting texture to the yarn, this is a special quality characteristic of original merino tweed.
Knit with 3.5-4mm needles, this will work with any pattern suitable for DK yarn. You can also combine the yarn with, for example, Langin Lace yarn and this will give your knitting a new dimension.
Donegal works in knitwear, scarves and other accessories. Its wonderful color scheme is especially attractive for embroidery, but the yarn can also be knitted in stocking stitch or in various surface knits..
