Lang's Alpaca Soxx 4 Ply is a particularly soft and warm alpaca wool sock yarn. This finger-strength yarn is excellent for people with sensitive skin and wool allergies, because Alpaca wool does not contain lanolin.
You can use the yarn to create wonderfully soft socks as well as other wonderful accessories and sweaters. Its mottled surface creates a beautiful effect, and the colors harmonize nicely together.
One ball is enough for a pair of socks for adults, and we recommend about 400 grams of yarn for a women's size M sweater.
The manufacturing process of alpaca wool is very environmentally friendly. It uses Easywash technology, which utilizes the enzyme treatment of alpaca fibers and eliminates the need to use environmentally harmful chemicals. Easywash has received Okotex, Bluesign and Reach certificates. This treatment enables the products to be washed with a wool program of up to 40 degrees in a washing machine.
