Isager Japansk Bomuld is a modern cotton yarn for summer knitwear and bags. The yarn is a ribbon-like, sophisticated matte cotton yarn that brings a unique structure and lightness to knitwear. The Japanese yarn quality resembles paper string on the outside, but is surprisingly soft and flexible to knit with. It is very durable and washable, and does not break as you might think at first glance.

This cotton yarn combines lightness with a clear stitch pattern. Its flat structure creates beautifully flowing surfaces and gives even simple knits a modern and finished look. It also works wonderfully with other natural fibers such as linen, cotton or silk mohair.

The recommended needle size varies depending on the intended use – try 2–3 mm for a more precise surface or larger needles for scarves and airier knits. One 50 gram ball (approx. 315 m) makes a small scarf, and for a top, for example, you will need approximately 3 balls. A women's size M sweater requires approximately 250 g of yarn, depending on the design.
