Hoito-Ohje:

Villatuotteita ei juurikaan tarvitse pestä, vaan niiden paras hoito-ohje on tuuletus.  Jos neuletta tarvitsee tahraantumisen takia pestä, käytä käsinpesuun kädenlämpöistä vettä ja villapesuainetta. Älä hankaa. Voit kääriä neuleen esimerkiksi pyyhkeeseen. ja puristella ylimääräisen veden pois. Neule kannattaa kuivata tasona.

 

 

Álafosslopi on islantilainen villalanka josta ne kuuluisat aidot islantilaiset kaarrokepaidat tehdään. Lanka soveltuu hyvin myös huovutukseen.  Lanka on rouheaa, mutta pehmenee käytössä jonkun verran. Villa on äärimmäisen lämmin ja vettä hylkivä joten pysyt lämpöisenä ja kuivana pienellä tihkusateellakin.


Islantilainen villa on kehrätty kahdella eri kuidulla - pehmeällä, lyhyemmällä alusvillalla  ja pidemmällä, karkeammalla peittokarvalla. Tämä ainutlaatuinen koostumus tuottaa langan, joka pitää lämpöisenä.  Se on kestävä ja säilyy hyväkuntoisena vuodesta toiseen ja perintönä "isältä pojalle" .

Istex ei ole tunnettu vain langoistaan, vaan myös suunnittelustaan. Heidän ohjekirjoistaan löydät paljon "lopapeysa" (islantilaiset villapaidat) malleja ja ohjeita,  joita neulojat rakastavat tehdä ja käyttää ympäri maailmaa.
