Knitting for Olive Pure Silk is a soft and luxurious yarn made from pure raw silk. It is made from silk fibers that are collected and produced into yarn after the silkworm larvae have flown out of their open cocoons.

A 50g ball is a real giant and 4 balls are enough for a size M short-sleeved shirt.

Silk has extensive thermoregulatory properties, so it can be used in clothing all year round. Silk can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture, but still feels dry against the skin, making it particularly suitable for summer wear. At the same time, silk, like wool, has insulating properties that retain heat in cold weather.

The small butterfly on the label indicates that the larvae have been allowed to develop into butterflies, allowing them to complete their life cycle.

Spinning adheres to ethical, technical and environmental standards and creates yarns that are free of harmful chemicals.
