Hoito-ohje:

Villatuotteita ei juurikaan tarvitse pestä, vaan niiden paras hoito-ohje on tuuletus.  Jos neuletta tarvitsee tahraantumisen takia pestä, käytä käsinpesuun kädenlämpöistä vettä ja villapesuainetta. Älä hankaa. Voit kääriä neuleen esimerkiksi pyyhkeeseen. ja puristella ylimääräisen veden pois. Neule kannattaa kuivata tasona

 

Plötulopi on islantilainen yksisäikeinen hahtuvalanka, ja siitä valmistetaan perinteiset aidot  Lopi-villapaidat.  Lanka on hauras neulottaessa, mutta  jos lanka katkeaa, on päät helppo yhdistää. Lanka kulkee mukavasti puikoilla.  Pitkien kuitujensa ansiosta siitä neulottu pusero tai muu villavaate on lämmin, erittäin kevyt ja kestävä. Plötulopia voit neuloa kaksin tai jopa kolminkertaisena. Yksinkertaisena lanka vastaa Lettlopia ja kaksinkertaisena Alafosslopia, muista kuinktenkin tarkistaa neuletiheys. Lanka soveltuu erinomaisesti myös huovutukseen ja käsinkehräämiseen.

Plötulopia myydään kiekkoina. Yhden kiekon paino on noin 100 grammaa ja se sisältää noin 300 metriä lankaa.
