Sandnes Garn Sunday – lightweight and versatile classic merino wool yarn

Sandnes Garn Sunday is a fingering-strength merino wool yarn without superwash treatment. It is a lightweight and versatile classic that can be knitted all year round – on its own for airy and lightweight knits or combined with silk mohair for a luxuriously soft and beautifully flowing finish.

Sunday is also pleasant on sensitive skin, as the yarn is guaranteed mulesing-free merino wool. Its strength makes it the perfect choice for cardigans, shirts, hats, scarves and children's knitwear.

The color chart is extensive and inspiring: alongside timeless basic colors, there are trendy and fresh shades that are easy to combine into harmonious wholes. The PetiteKnit-labeled colors were designed in collaboration with PetiteKnit , and are familiar from many of her popular knitting patterns.

Care

Sunday is not superwashed, but according to Sandnes Garn it can be washed on a gentle 30°C wool cycle. Wool stays fresh for a long time just by airing it out. If necessary, we recommend gentle hand washing and always drying flat. Do not use a laundry bag to prevent rubbing and felting.

SUNDAY yarn is spun from mulesing-free merino wool. The yarn is manufactured and dyed at Sandnes Garn's factory in Foss Eikeland, Norway, where the entire production and dyeing process follows strict EU environmental requirements regarding dyes, water use, etc. The mulesing-free merino wool originates from Uruguay.
