Álafosslopi is an Icelandic woolen yarn from which the famous authentic Icelandic woolen shirts are made. The yarn is also suitable for felting.
The color scheme of the yarn is wide. With colors that are close to nature, including bright colors, you can certainly conjure up wonderful color combinations, for example for circular knitting. Icelandic thick wool is coarse, but softens somewhat with use. Even after years, the knitted surface has remained beautiful. Wool's properties include its warmth and water-repellent surface, so you stay warm and dry even with a little drizzle.
